Elohim Christian Church
A new building for a Queens Church.
This 5,000 sqf new building includes classrooms, offices, a sanctuary, and an entry lobby.
Architecturally, the building provides a generous cantilever at the front entry. This cantilevered space provides shade and shelter for those entering the church, Inside, simple forms give the church the spaces they need for an expanding congregation, while moments like a large window at the end of a hallway provide simple but meaningful places for contemplation and joy.
While architecturally modest, this project illustrates our ability to design, manage, and build in New York City.
